An Inupiat Name
Anigaa means "cute" in Inupiat. Our family lived in a small whaling village in Northern
Alaska. At the time we had two little girls: a baby and a toddler and
while we were there the thing we heard the most was, "AaaNinGAW! Your
babies are so cute!"
